you know the new year's rolling in when parents start scrambling around the house, trying to cover the messyness that's usually there year round. there's really only three times a year our house is decent enough to invite people over: thanksgiving, christmas, & chinese new year. spent the last two days running around like a maniac cleaning the house from top to bottom. woke up super early this morning to drive over to grammy's to wish her a happy new year. had to unfortunately skip the tet festival this year due to this horrible sore scratchy throat/stuffy nose/developing cough. darrrn this stupid bug that's going around campus! time of year is all about letting go of the old & in with the new, but it feels almost fake... i barely went through all this new year revolution stuff a month ago. haha buuut as a little bonus to all the fun, i made $210 so far from five people/couples/families buuuut hopefully that's not the official amount (: woah, that sounds super greedy. i know it's all about spending time with family, it's just... i needa save up man. haha
ohlordy, saw the cutest boy today working at the restaurant i went to. he was waiting on a couple and the lady announces ever so loudy to the entire restaurant: so are you gonna get off early to spend the night with your girlfriend for vday?! and the poor guy goes: no, i don't have a girlfriend haha & blushes. embarrassing much? but daang was he cute! haha
