here come the cavities.

I think sonya & i did pretty well for just 2-ish hours. I'm happy (: It was a bit awkward with all those other kids, but i'm glad i saw sana again. I haven't seen her since what...the end of seventh grade? This one lady pissed the heck out of me though. Until the day we turn eighteen, we are NOT too old for trick-or-treating fool! Maan, i'm poopity pooped from all that walking.

So a couple of my friends are going through one of those rough bumps in their friendship & it's all over a guy. The thing is, I've heard you BOTH say over and over that friendship will always be more important than a guy and yet... he's the reason why you guys are doing this. To the one that feels hurt and betrayed: she didn't mean to hurt you but she didn't want you to find out from another person. if you had found out later on, you probably would've still been pissed off at her...but more because she didn't tell you. isn't it better that you heard it from her rather than through some gossip going around? I love you both like sisters, but it's hard hearing both sides knowing that it's because of that boy. both of you have asked me 'omg did you tell her?' or that type of thing. the answer is NO i haven't. Can you two at least just talk to each and try to work things out, just telling each other what you both had told me instead of acting like you're both 'okay' with it cuz obviously, you're not.

tomorrow's halloween (:

I remember waaay back in the day when I used to be so freaking excited about halloween, but now the excitement's kind of fading away :/ I miss having that 'omg i can't wait to dress up and get all that candy' feeling & just being a kid. I don't think I've dressed up for the last three years, but this year I thought, 'hey, why not?' Freaaaking stores are getting rich from poor kids who just wanna have fun, i mean seriously...$50 for a costume? jeez. Since I'm so asian & cheap i'm just gonna borrow pauline's lovely homemade costume [which you'll just have to wait 'til tomorrow to see]. I hope there aren't gonna be any funky malfunctions with it though. That wouldn't be too good >.<>

Gosh dang, life's been kind of a blur the past two weeks or so. I've just been so out of it lately, not to mention extremely confused about things. I probably snapped once or twice [or 12345 more times] at a few of you, sorry about that. I guess the high school experience is finally starting to kick in. I always tell my friends that go through something like this that it's not worth it and to try to just forget about it, but I can't seem to follow my own advice. My mind keeps going round and round with the 'what ifs' and 'what will happens'. I feel like it's deja vu & that i'm kind of just allowing this to happen all over again. Like a friend of mine said, it's like a game & we're just being played. It's kind of funny cuz I know what's coming my way, and yet... I'm still willing to maybe, possibly take a chance on it. But to those three or four people I've been really venting to lately [like daily] THANK YOU FOR LISTENING <3

choir clinic ;

Our performance turned out better than I thought it would be, but the whole thing in general was kinda sorta super boring. So when this one choir went up on stage [i think it was anaheim or katella?], I hear a bunch of people start whispering. Then after like five minutes, I thought...omg, is that girl pregnant? So Steffi and I were trying to figure that out throughout the song. I felt kind of mean for saying that, afterall she could've just been...'well fed'? So after the dude finished telling them what they could do better, she turned and BAM... the answer was pretty dang obvious. It's funny when I think about it, 'cuz it's just our school that finds pregnancy at our age weird...which frankly, is just sad. It's like at any other school, this would be a normal everyday thing, to see a pregnant girl at such a young age going to school.

No cluster next year?! :0
So Mrs. Levoit had ANOTHER talk with us about cluster/enrichment and said there's a slim to no chance of keeping cluster next year :/ She said the other two likely choices are 8 classes PER day, with an elective to replace cluster or having the four-by-four schedule. I hope they end up keeping cluster man. After like two years, i finally started to bond with my cluster buddies!

wow, learned alot about you today.

thanks for telling the world & being a jerk about it.
dang i feel like an idiot.

I'm pretty tired out after a long ventful talk with a bestie, so i'll keep this short. Today was the pasta dinner. I swear that hogan just wants to get mad at us, he's like out to get us or something. The opener wasn't even...the opener. At least the pasta was WARM this year. Things are getting awkward with some friends again & I have no idea what's going on between us. I guess we're just drifting apart again. Overall, this just wasn't a good day. Well, i guess it wasn't TOTALLY horrible, but pretty darn close.

Yesterday was a good, but pretty boring day. I walked into bio this morning & boy did morrissey look PISSED OFF. Stupid bus was late, but that's nothing new. Took me a while before I found out that it was cuz of Hogan. She went on a rampage & called hoshi after stamping our agendas. muahaha that man's gonna get itt (: So Hayley & I had a little talk about stuff during P.E. & exchanged a few secrets. Fun stuff. Cluster was kind of a bore compared to last time. I heard we might not have cluster next year! :0 & Levoit's totally all for it, too. I don't really blame her though, we aren't exactly...the most well-behaved kids. So I came home today & all of a sudden I see this super bright orange thing on my bed and realized it was our choir shirts. I forgot all about it for a while there. I look like a construction worker in that thing >.<

Things went down a bit better today (: Kelly & I started off the day with some good old music before getting to school, and once again she got 'how do i breathe' stuck in my head for the rest of the day. As always, geometry was just plain boring. After Erickson finished her speech about good behavior for guests, English wasn't ALL that bad. I couldn't stop laughing at what Marcel said about his least favorite poem. Choir, choir, choir...Hogan's speeches are seriously getting old. He says the same freaking thing over and over. I guess it wasn't so bad today though. So around six-ish my dad called to tell my sister to make rice for dinner [what do you expect? we're asian.], who felt the need to wake me up from my fantastic daily nap and show me the gross mutated species of three day old rice. MADE ME WANT TO BARF. It looked like nasty cotton candy porridge with bits of rice krispies >.<>Hayley and I started thinking about how different things would be after high school & how different things would be. The 'hot' guys with beer bellies? Nerds somehow becoming super hot? I wonder if we'll still even keep in touch. I guess we'll just have to wait & see what happens at our ten year reunion.

costco samples are actually really filling.

& yummy too! haha
Eeeep. I'm pretty sure I failed those quizzes for geometry & health today, but whatever. & the sub for erickson was kinda...boring? to say the least. Thanks to that last sub that was practically Voldamort's twin, Erickson will probably be giving us some sort of lecture about behavior on wednesday. Stupid vallet parker >.<

So I start guitar lessons today! (:
I guess i'm pretty excited, yet kind of not at the same time. I have no idea what this place is like or who's teaching. My dad just found some random place somewhere in the asian area & decided to sign me up. For all I know he could be some crazy pedophile, but let's hope he's not. I hope I don't end up being the oldest kids, or the only girl either... awkward much? But I guess I'll have to wait 'til seven to find out. I better get going on bio & spanish homework before I get that lecture about kids needing their sleep from my parents again. Does anyone else get that or is it just me? It sounds worse in vietnamese, believe me. But if I have some time later tonight, I'll probably do a little bit of rambling about the class [& the people in it] :D

_______________________________________________________________________

The guitar class didn't turn out exactly as I thought it would be. So when i showed up, no cute guys in sight whatsoever. There were about 3 asian viet kids standing there with their guitars. I think they're brothers? They looked kinda like brewster & his brothers, each a miniature version of the oldest one. Then I saw two old men that I THOUGHT were just parents hanging around, but it turns out they're taking the class too. I kept hoping there'd be at least ONE kid would come in late or something that I'd be able to talk to, but no luck :/ & on top of that, the each of those little kids had a freaking amplifier. One of the old guys was just plain hilarious. He'd like slam on the strings in a freakish way and have this face that words can't even describe. But it was hilarious, take my word for it. The teacher kind of reminds me of Santa Clara [matic's sub] but he was cool I guess. Mannn, I still have a headache from those stupid amplifiers. Hopefully, next week goes a little better.

i just want you.

The day started off pretty well; stepped off the bus & heard my favorite song playing on the announcements & started singing like a fool with kelly.freaking.cheung. (: Then came those boring bio notes on the overhead, with the lights OFF. I hope she didn't catch me falling asleep :0 I definitely woke up in P.E though... road mile. They're actually not as bad as I thought they were. Lots & lots of shade, hehe (: Matic is actually pretty cool. 'Te gusto?!' + construction workers = hilarious stuff. The best part of the day I must admit was cluster with the girls & white table. Jenny & I were probably a tad too hyper, but it's okay. I never knew how much those boys can gossip...until today that is. But today was most definitely FUN. It kinda felt like a deja vu type of moment that we had during testing- uno, bonding, & mucho talking! About six people and nonstop gossip for about an hour, good stuff. I think I set a new record for my afterschool naps, haha. Five & a half hours yo!

The week seemed to go by kinda fast though, don'tcha think? But I guess it's cuz we had monday off. YAY! tomorrow's friday :D I remember back in seventh grade when I used to pretty much hate that song they play everrry friday on the announcements, but I've grown to kinda sorta like it. I guess without it, it doesn't really feel like friday anymore.

Alright, I think that's enough gibbergabber for today. Back to erickson homework >.<

Daaang,

it's been a while since my last [[well i guess first?]] entry. I'm still new at this blogging thing so sorry if I go on about my boring everyday thangs.

For the most part, things are finally back to normal. It probably took me way longer than it should've to realize it doesn't matter who gives in first. But now that it's all behind us, we have ALOT of catching up to do. It's surprising how much you can miss out on in just a few days. The past week's been so...wow. It's nothing close to the drama other people have, but it's a wowzers for me.

It's so cold these days! Just like two days ago I was practically melting, and now my feet feel like popsicles. Global warming, much?! :0 I think it's about time I get my butt to the mall for some winter shopping. Anyone wanna come with?

Following the herd.

Lately more and more people have started using this thing, so I figured it can't hurt to try it out. I guess I've always been one to give into whatever the rest of the world's doing. Plus, I've been needing a way to let my thoughts just flow. I've never really been able to write down everything in a diary like others have so easily. I guess it's cuz I don't have much privacy at my house. Five people living under the same roof, not exactly a good thing if you live in a townhouse.

Life seems like it's moving by so fast now, and yet so slow at the same time.
My friends and I are drifting apart.
Little things turn into huge overdramatic things.
Oxford's tougher than it's ever been.
& I'm just trying to get through it all in one piece.
This past week's been kinda tough on me and some friends, but I'm hoping we'll fix things up soon.

So I woke up from a four hour nap today and felt a sudden urge to hit the local park - stoddard elementary, my first home away from home. I spent seven years of my life there [kinder-sixth] & I've really been meaning to come back and visit it, but haven't actually stepped foot there since promotion. I seriously need to stop saying it and actually do it. Remember the old days when the only thing that gets you through the day is knowing that you'll have reccess in just a few hours, although it seemed like so much longer? I miss that. I miss those old rusty swings that we'd always cheat on when counting for the person to get off. One, two, three, TEN! And that oh so lovely slide that we'd get in trouble on for sliding down backwards, sliding all at once holding on the to person's leg behind you, and running up just cuz we were too lazy to climb up the ladder on the side. But I hear they took out pretty much everything fun about that place, the monkey bars, swings, slide, bridge, and tunnel. What's a junglegym without all that? I still miss it though. Mann, one of these days the stoddard kids need to get their butts over there with me and have like a little reunion.

If you actually took the time to listen to my rant, thanks (:
